Terms of service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed on preciousjewels.be and to every custom design we agree with you. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, our Returns and refunds policy and our Privacy policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Who we are

Precious Jewels is the trade name of Jimmy Dzanashvili, sole trader, enterprise number 0769.604.433, VAT BE 0769.604.433, Vestingstraat 22A, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium. E-mail info@preciousjewels.be, phone +32 487 93 08 85. Boutique open Sunday to Friday, 10:30 to 18:00.

2. Our products

Every piece is made in Antwerp, in 9K or 18K gold as you select on the product page. The stone type of each piece, lab-grown or natural, its minimum colour and clarity grades, the gold weight and the stone weights are stated in the specifications on the product page. Diamonds are certified where the product page says so; the certificate travels with the piece. Photos and 3D renders are as faithful as we can make them, but screens differ and every piece is handmade: small variations in colour, finish and gold weight are inherent to the craft and are not defects. Gold weight varies slightly with the handcrafted work and the ring size.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros and include Belgian VAT at 21%. Shipping is free. For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are not included and are paid by the recipient (see the Shipping policy). We may change prices at any time; the price shown when you place your order is the one you pay. If a price on the site is obviously wrong, we will tell you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Ordering and the contract

You choose the metal, the stone size where offered, the ring size and an optional free engraving (up to 20 characters), then pay at checkout. We confirm receipt by e-mail. The contract is formed when we send that order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order where we cannot verify the payment, suspect fraud, cannot obtain the stone or material, or find a pricing error; any amount already paid is refunded in full and without delay. Please check the ring size, engraving text and address before paying: engraved and personalised pieces cannot be returned, and an order cannot be changed once production has started.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include major credit and debit cards, Bancontact, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. Payment is taken when you place the order. Where you choose instalments through Klarna, Klarna's own terms apply to the instalment plan. All payment data is handled by the payment provider over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your card number.

6. Custom designs and personalised pieces

For a custom design we agree the brief, show you sketches and a 3D render, and ask for a 50% deposit before we start; the balance is due before delivery or collection. Production starts once you approve the final design or render; from that moment the piece can no longer be changed, cancelled, exchanged or returned, except if it is faulty, because it is made to your specifications. Made-to-order pieces are delivered within 2 weeks of the order and ready-to-ship pieces within 5 working days; custom work is counted from your approval of the final design or render. We tell you if a piece needs longer. The deposit is not refundable once production has started.

7. Delivery

Delivery is free, insured and tracked, worldwide, with a signature on delivery; collection in our boutique is free. Production and delivery times, customs duties outside the EU and what to do if a parcel is late or damaged are set out in the Shipping policy. Risk passes to you when you, or a person you appointed, take physical possession of the piece.

8. Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason, and we extend returns to 30 days under the conditions of our Returns and refunds policy. The legal right does not apply to engraved, personalised or custom-made pieces, nor to a ring resized at your request. The policy explains how to return a piece, who pays the return shipping, and when you receive a refund or store credit.

9. Legal guarantee and our warranty

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity of two years from delivery under Belgian law (articles 1649bis and following of the old Civil Code). Our own two-year warranty against manufacturing defects comes on top of it and is described in the Returns and refunds policy. Neither covers normal wear, accidental damage, loss, the natural wear of rhodium plating, improper care, or work done by another jeweller.

10. Promotions and discount codes

A discount code applies only to the orders, products, amounts and dates stated when it is issued; codes cannot be combined unless we say so, have no cash value and cannot be applied after an order is placed. The welcome code for new subscribers is valid once, on a first order of €2,500 or more.

11. Appointments

Appointments in our boutique are free and without obligation. We ask you to tell us as early as you can if you cannot come, so the slot can go to someone else.

12. Intellectual property

Our designs, photos, texts, logo and name belong to Precious Jewels or its licensors. You may not copy or use them, for instance to have a design reproduced elsewhere, without our written permission.

13. Liability

We are liable under the law for the conformity of our products and for any damage caused by our fault. Beyond what the law requires, our liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury, fraud or intentional fault.

14. Complaints, mediation and courts

If something is wrong, write to info@preciousjewels.be; we answer within two working days and do our best to settle every complaint directly. If we cannot, you may contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst, North Gate II, Koning Albert II-laan 8 bus 1, 1000 Brussels, consumentenombudsdienst.be) or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are brought before the courts of Antwerp, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring a claim before the courts of your own place of residence within the EU.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on the site when you place your order. The date at the top is the current version.
